By April this year, Germany alone had installed PV systems with a total capacity of 3.7 gigawatts. To help our partners take advantage of these excellent market opportunities, we are providing new mounting solutions and optimizing our existing systems. And of course, we continue to improve our sustainability. We also invite you once more to join us at Intersolar!

We had already announced it, and now it is finally here: our MSP-FR-G for established, grown green roofs! The system can be used on green roof substrates with root growth in many different ways. It is installed without penetrating the roof and can be flexibly aligned and arranged. The modular design and small number of components facilitate the installation process, even without modules. If you use Schweizer’s MSP and Solrif, you will have one source to provide you with all system variants: In-roof, on-roof, flat roof, pitched roof, metal roof and green roof.
Our focus on lightning protection has already attracted a lot of attention. And now we are taking up another important health and safety issue: A mounting system must equalise electric potential differences between different components – this is the only way to prevent electric shocks. For this reason, we had our pitched roof mounting system MSP-PR successfully tested for equipotential bonding capabilities in accordance with IEC 61439-1. We would like to thank VDE Renewables GmbH for their cooperation and the certificate!

Large modules are all the rage now. This is why our product range now includes new clamps and a new support rack, which is mounted centrally under the module. This allows safely mounting large module types of up to 1,332 mm x 2,399 mm that will last even in regions with high snow and wind loads – in the mountains or on the coast, for example. The enlarged clamping range also increases the flexibility of the system so that even narrow frames are perfectly fixed. Naturally, these product enhancements are integrated in our Solar.Pro.Tool planning software.
This year, Ernst Schweizer GmbH from Satteins has once more received the ECOPROFIT certificate – and is celebrating a special anniversary: Our subsidiary doma vkw was honoured for 20 years of ECOPROFIT certification. In other words: For more than 20 years, doma vkw has been demonstrating its commitment to resource conservation, water and energy efficiency, as well as waste and emissions reduction.
