With the new solar roof tile, we are presenting an innovative two-in-one solution. We will be present with our entire range at the new Solar & Storage Live 2024 trade fair in Zurich. In a new video, our experts document how Schweizer systems enable slimline PV installation on and in roofs.

The innovative two-in-one solution from Schweizer integrates traditional roofing and a PV installation in a single work step. The solar roof tile replaces conventional roof tiles and integrates seamlessly into the roof structure thanks to the uniform visible surface.

Similar to traditional roof tiles, the solar roof tiles are simply mounted on the roof battens. This eliminates the need for an additional substructure. Thanks to the size, which corresponds to five flat tiles that cover a width of 1,500 mm, installation is quick and easy. The solar roof tile is light and easy to handle, eliminating the need for any additional equipotential bonding on the roof.

On 17–18 September 2024, the solar industry will take over Halls 5 and 6 at the Zurich Trade Fair Grounds. The first edition of Solar & Storage Live 2024 brings together over 150 exhibitors presenting innovative partnerships and new approaches to support the energy transition. The accompanying conference programme includes keynote presentations and case studies on solar and storage solutions.
