Ernst Schweizer at Solar & Storage in Zurich + new updates on the topic of solar energy

Our news im September 2025

We cordially invite you to visit us at Solar & Storage in Zurich from 16 to 17 September and experience our latest solar solutions live.

This newsletter contains exciting news that will make your projects more efficient and economical. In addition to an official IFI wind report that confirms less ballast for PV systems on green roofs, you can look forward to an important update to our planning software, and the half-gable system can now be configured in the Solar.Pro.Tool.

We hope you enjoy a stimulating read!

  • The second Solar & Storage Zurich event will take place at Messe Zürich on 16–17 September. The trade fair puts the spotlight on new products and innovations that are essential for installers, engineers and other experts in the solar industry.

Schweizer will also be attending again. We will be presenting new and proven solar solutions on exhibition stand H20 in hall 2, including our green roof system, our Solrif in-roof photovoltaic system and new developments and innovations for our MSP mounting system.

Visit our stand and consult and exchange ideas with our experts and the partners present from SoliTek (PV modules) and AGZ-Ziegeleien (solar roof tiles). We look forward to your visit. Admission is free of charge!

  • Official confirmation has been obtained. A new IFI wind report corroborates that our MSP-FR green PV mounting system requires significantly less ballast on green roofs.

You can therefore exploit new potential for roofs with low static reserves while simultaneously saving valuable installation time and material. Realise profitable projects that were previously inconceivable!

They are installed directly on the substrate – without penetrating the roof. Tested lightning current carrying capacity (100 kA) and the integrated ABS AluTrax fall protection system also guarantee maximum safety and efficiency.

  • Configuration speed has improved. You can now configure our innovative half-gable system for east-west flat roof systems directly in our Solar.Pro.Tool planning software. This extension allows you to plan even more flexibly and quickly, thus making optimum use of the roof area – even when there are obstacles.
