The aerodynamically designed MSP flat roof systems can be installed without drilling into the roof and they also don’t interfere with the roof drainage.

The ballast requirements are calculated using our planning software Solar.Pro.Tool. Based on the friction coefficient for the roof membrane, the software automatically determines what weights are needed and where to position them on the mounting system.

The friction coefficient for the roof membrane is taken from the manufacturer’s data sheets or calculated using our test set.

The mounting system can be installed without any PV modules. Plus, the various system components can be preassembled prior to installation to reduce the time spent working on the roof.

The inbuilt measurement system also cuts out the time usually spent measuring, which again speeds up the installation process.

Base rails are available in several different sizes, so that the load can be optimally distributed for the strength of the roof and the ballast requirements kept to a minimum. A protective fleece layer separates the base rails from the roof membrane to protect it against mechanical damage.w

This fleece layer is compatible with all roof membranes and is extremely durable, as proven in successful durability testing in line with EN 1297.

The connecting rails are supplied in a suitable range of lengths. When planning a project, our planning software Solar.Pro.Tool is used to determine which rails are the best fit for the size of PV module, so there is no need to trim the rails down during installation.

With conventional mounting systems, sufficient space must be left between the lightning rods and the PV system to prevent a lightning strike. This requirement reduces the amount of roof space available for the PV system. In contrast, MSP flat roof systems have integrated lightning current carrying capacity, so all the roof space can be used.
