Over the past few weeks, a number of large roof installations have been built using systems from Schweizer. Our market evaluation suggests that large roofs – such as those found at industrial premises – are being increasingly used for PV. Their statics, however, often only allow for low ballast requirements. This is where our flat roof systems really show off their strength, as they are aerodynamically optimised to dispense with any need for heavy weights. The optimal load distribution also protects insulated roofs.
